Training & Education

Learn It. See It. Put It Into Practice.

At Fluid Handling, we believe the best technical knowledge comes from combining classroom education with real-world, hands-on experience. Our training facility gives engineers, contractors, service technicians, and industry professionals the opportunity to expand their knowledge, work directly with equipment, and better understand how complete systems operate.

On-Site Professional Engineers

Our on-site P.E. professionals bring engineering expertise directly into our training and technical support, helping connect system design with real-world application.

Industry Professionals & Manufacturer Experts

We regularly bring in experienced industry professionals, factory representatives, and technical specialists to provide in-depth training on equipment, applications, installation, service, and troubleshooting.

Hands-On Equipment Training

We go beyond presentations and product literature. Attendees have opportunities to work with equipment, examine system components, and learn through practical demonstrations.

Steam Training Board

Our dedicated steam board allows attendees to see steam system components and piping arrangements firsthand while learning proper application, operation, and troubleshooting techniques.

Live Fire Room — Coming Soon

We are expanding our training capabilities with a live, operational steam room designed to take steam education to the next level. Attendees will be able to see boiler principles and equipment operating in a real-world training environment.

Live Radiant Heating Demonstration

Radiant heat is built directly into our facility's outdoor lot, providing a real-world demonstration of how a Roth radiant heating system is designed, installed, piped, and operated.

See the Entire System — Not Just the Equipment

Our training approach focuses on how individual components work together as a complete system, helping attendees better understand installation, controls, system operation, efficiency, and troubleshooting.

Training for Engineers, Contractors & Service Professionals

Programs are designed to provide value at every level—from engineers looking to strengthen application knowledge to contractors and technicians looking for hands-on installation and service experience.

Continuing Education Opportunities

Fluid Handling offers educational programs and training opportunities designed to help industry professionals continue developing their technical knowledge and stay current with evolving technologies and best practices.

MORE THAN A TRAINING ROOM. A PLACE TO EXPERIENCE THE SYSTEM.

At Fluid Handling, we are continually investing in our training capabilities because we believe stronger technical knowledge leads to better designs, better installations, and better-performing systems.

From our on-site Professional Engineers and industry experts to our steam board, live radiant system, hands-on equipment, and upcoming live steam room, the Fluid Handling Institute is built to turn technical concepts into practical knowledge.
