The intention of this course is to reaffirm a plumber’s ability to select the correct type of water heating device or system based on desired temperatures, required demand and or code compliancy. In addition, this course will inform those responsible for inspecting installations as to code regulations including the PH constitution of waste water from combustion processes, temperature requirements for various institutions, and materials approved for installations.

The course will explain the differences in fuels including cost, efficiency, and physical characteristics. It will then cover the efficiency capabilities based on the various designs of water heating devices. The material presented will allow the installer a clear view of the best design for the desired results. Included within this presentation will be the topic of water chemistry and how it affects combustion efficiencies, equipment and the overall desired quality of hot water provided to the customer.
